Pavly Beshay is an Egyptian independent director, screenwriter, and producer living in Rome. After pursuing her filmmaking training in Italy, she developed a poetics that combines intimate stories with deeply socially relevant themes, exploring issues such as mental health, identity, climate change, and resilience.
Her short films have been selected and awarded at international festivals. Loveolution received the Best Short Film award at the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival in California, while Sunflower continued its festival run, confirming her interest in cinema capable of combining emotion, civic engagement, and visual language.
She lives and works in Rome, where she gained experience in film production, participating in workshops, masterclasses, and advanced training courses that have helped define her approach to writing and producing.
