Director Biography - Littlebear Sanchez

Born in Austin, Texas, Littlebear Sanchez (Lipan Apache) is a Two-Spirited filmmaker and the founder of Wild Butterfly Films. Selected for the Sundance Indigenous Program Two-Spirit Intensive in 2023 and the ImagineNative Feature Film Writing Fellowship in 2024, Littlebear has experience producing short films, documentaries, commercials, and experimental works. With a passion for drama, horror, and sci-fi thrillers, they are dedicated to creating meaningful storytelling that amplifies diverse voices and narratives. Littlebear’s work seeks to engage audiences through compelling genres while emphasizing cultural representation and the power of storytelling.
