Look at the Land

‘Look of the Land’ is a visual documentary that follows Kamsani, a prominent Aboriginal artist from Western Australia as he paints a mural based on his artistic interpretation of West Australian land. Half of the visuals are a time lapse from the beginning to the end of the artistic process to show the slow progression of Kam’s work. The work was designed and shot by Curtin students in collaboration with ScreenWest, for screening at Yagan Square's cylindrical screen in Perth, Western Australia in 2020 and 2021.
