SELF
Marlisa comes from a theatre based background and is self taught in film-making. Marlisa holds a BA degree in Psychology & English; a UK teachers qualifications (QTS & NQT) in Drama & English; and a post graduate degree from the Academy of Live & Recorded Arts in acting.
This story was inspired by my time living in South Africa and being confronted daily with the great disparity between rich and poor.
I often wondered how it was that young children who start out with open hearts, end up growing into adults who become numb to it.
