Lionel Fantom

This piece is an abstraction of the overall aesthetic of the story (a completed 140 page script) as well as a comprehensive introduction into the character and how he relates to his surroundings through his artistic plight and mental struggle, use of excerpts of dialogues and scenes inspired by the original narrative are also featured in this fourty two minute version. The Story is about a wealthy and famous Dj going into a spiritual revolution, fighting to keep a grip on reality. Redefining thru his expression what reality had become in his mind. Lionel Fantom is the protagonist. A conduit for various entities, Ninjinsky, Baudlaire, Rimbaud, Tupac and Lorca. Taking them out of the individual, out of their social context, beyond, space, time, creed, and culture and into a spiritual context. Stripping them of their ego in Room Ninety Nine, where they meet for the same purpose.
Consequently, although the short is a cohesive work on its own, it is de facto a teaser for what would be the feature film pending financing of course.
It won the "Best cross disciplinary film" at the Crown heights Film Festival in Brooklyn and we have been receiving great feed back.
