Director Biography - Victoria Hopkins

Victoria Hopkins is an accomplished Actor and Costume Designer. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Costume Production from Rose Bruford College and a Masters in Classical Acting from the prestigious Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London. Hopkins cemented her skillset from stage to screen acting in Los Angeles under international acting coach Lisa Pescia and, most recently, with Ivana Chubbuck Studios.
Her portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, from her memorable role as “The Bride” in Jake West’s cult classic film Doghouse (2009) to her ‘scene stealer’ in the controversial gangster film Landscape of Lies (2017) by Paul Knight. Her career reached new heights when she joined the cast of the Canadian Czech comedy TV series Clay’s POV (2014).
In 2018 Hopkins established MirrorMirror Productions, an independent filmmaking company to write and produce captivating stories that hold a mirror to human experience. Work includes the debut online TV series, Diary of an Unknown Actress, the music video Stay and the proof of concept short Cell 57. Continuing her own studies with a Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University, majoring in Psychology and Philosophy, Victoria is nurturing the next generation of talent at the New York Film Academy Gold Coast, where she coaches aspiring actors.

Working with young actors is a privileged giving them voice to their stories, to what issues trigger them and wounds that need to be healed early so they continue not to stain the present.
