Lights off

Angela is a sprightly lady in her seventies and lives surrounded by the love of her family. For some time, however, Francesco, her nephew to whom she is most attached, notices that the woman behaves in an unusual way. She is often absent-minded and seems sometimes "another person". Her nephew notices some strange symptoms and decides to take her to a neurologist. The neurologist's diagnosis is Alzheimer's syndrome.
The family decides to entrust Angela to a retirement home for non self-sufficient people, where Francesco often visits her. There he "interviews" her about her past life. When even the last light goes out, Angela is still there, in the book that her dearest nephew has dedicated to her.
