Light Painting

Directed by Goran Milev and featuring Father Stevan Kovačević, this documentary film explores Byzantine painting.

Byzantine iconography is the oldest and only Christian art form that has remained unchanged for the past 2000 years. Icons, depicting holy persons, held significant importance in the Byzantine Christian Church. Venerated in churches, public spaces, and private homes, they were often believed to possess protective properties. Father Stevan has painted numerous icons and frescoes in churches across Trebinje, Paris, Brussels, Ulm, and currently in Los Angeles, CA.
