Kia ora! I'm Harry, a seasoned Storyteller, Producer, Director and Creative from Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m passionate about creating compelling content that promotes positive global, environmental, and social change. By combining my skills in the creative sector with experiences from exploring diverse parts of the world, such as the scenic beauty of Aotearoa NZ to the icy terrains of Ross Island in Antarctica and the wild expanses of East Africa, I’ve produced award-winning adventure, cultural, conservation, and educational content.
In 2017 I helped lead the kea (mountain parrot) to victory for the first time in Forest and Bird’s Bird of the Year competition. In 2018 - 2019, I was selected as the Sir Peter Blake Trust (BLAKE) Antarctic Ambassador, where I would go on to visit Scott Base on and produce the first season of ‘Antarctica Unfrozen’ the podcast. In 2021, I was an Inspiring Stories Impact Award Finalist and my first feature documentary ‘Fly The Roof’ won People’s Choice Award in the Adventure Show at the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) where it world premiered. In 2022 and 2023 ‘Mutinda’ (Short Conservation Documentary) was an Official Selection at wildlife festivals around the world, notably and proudly, being premiered at Pridelands Wildlife Film Festival (PWFF), Africa’s first wildlife film festival based in Kenya, it then won the FUJIFILM Create Forever Award Best Student Film, New York WILD Film Festival, USA.
