Lieke Anna (1988) is a storytelling artist. With her work she gives beauty to the darkness of life.
She searches for the contrast between the fragility and the strength of the human being. Creates to move the viewer, to make them feel, to touch them and does this by creating painterly selfportraits.

For years she has only used the medium of photography as her way of painting her reality in meaningful imagery.
Now she has also made her debut as a director with the creation of her short documentary “Figment”, a story about living loss and dealing with her mom’s brain damage after suffering a brain bleed in 2020.
