Libangbang--The coming of the flying fish

The Yami people settled on the Orchid Island which is in the eastside of Taiwan. To the Yami people, flying fish is a food source as well as the origin of daily life and rituals. This story is about in the 17th century, a Dutch sailor, Massey, visited the Orchid Island and begin culture experience with Yami people. From the adventure journey, he know more about the culture, ceremonies, and the spirit of Yami tribe. It took 3 years to conduct historical research and investigation with many tribal elders for finish this film.
