The water of a fountain reflects the face of a woman in a state of apparent hypnosis. From the moment she begins to move, the primordial and brutal need to bear witness to her own existence
emerges. As it unfolds, the movement is not conceived as an isolated element, but as an integral part of the space that hosts it, in a continuous interaction between body and landscape. An emotional vehicle capable of transforming the place and restoring to it a state of mind. A continuous relationship between dynamism and petrification.

Director Biography - Luigi Di Domenico

Luigi Di Domenico (Salerno, May 1, 1997) is an Italian film director and screenwriter.
He made his debut in 2018 with the short film Martino, which was screened at around 30 international festivals and ranked among the 50 most awarded short films of the year according to cinemaitaliano.info.
In 2022, he presented Yohiro at the 76th edition of the Salerno International Film Festival. The film received the award for Best Italian Film at the Barcelona Indie Awards.
In 2024, he directed "Marianna", a work of social denunciation that aims to shed light on environmental issues and the right to health. He got the Best Director Short at The North Film Festival in Barcelona.
In 2025 he filmed in the old centre of Rome "Lethni" a short dance film already screened in Italy, USA, Georgia and Spain.

Director Statement

The short film offers an immersive and experimental experience that merges dance, image, sound, and environment, in which the movement of the body and that of the camera blend into a single, fluid, and sensory narrative. The work establishes a relationship between body, landscape, and spectator, restoring to the place a “sense of feeling” through choreographic and visual interaction.
