Rumena Dinevska is a passionate LA based filmmaker. She has directed and written a number of projects including short films, music videos, commercials, editorial videos and proof of concepts. Her creative voice and distinctive visual language are apparent in her films, that tell the stories of characters who are vulnerable, but at the same time fearless in chasing their dreams or fighting for what's right. Rumena's thesis film "Pimp My Life" is a satirical story about today's beauty standards and it's currently in the festival run. She has also directed the music video for the song "Thief" by Ookay, which has now over 8 million views on Youtube and has played at Universal City Walk. Currently Rumena is working with Phillmonaco Productions on the development of a female action feature, "Lethalz" for which she directed the proof of concept.
I truly believe the creation of positive change is so important to the collective consciousness. When you have a group of people that have the intention, the capacity, the talent, and the intelligence to actualize those intentions, then you have something really powerful. Women are natural born intuitive leaders, however, they don't get the credit they deserve. Lethalz is a gateway for all women especially young girls to know that we are powerful Queens and when the stakes are high we are Lethal.
