Let Love In
LET LOVE IN
A new feature film by Ramzi Abed and Clinton H. Wallace.
Upon finishing a funny submissive foot fetish movie scene with a co-performer (Sophia Jade, playing herself), Ramzi admits that he's basically done with the world of performing or acting in adult films, but he has one scene left that he feels obligated to, and it's with a mainstream indie film actress (Victoria De Mare, playing herself too). This last "boy/girl" scene carries a lot of weight and expectation though, since Victoria only appears in mainstream independent films, so this last scene was sure to be something different. All the while, all that Ramzi wants to find is love... Real love. Sometimes, you just have to let love in. Ramzi is leaving the "Brock Doom" world behind him in search of something purer and truer to his true self. As his recent past holds a grip over him, he finds his own path through remembrance, self-acceptance and ultimately, love. There is no sex portrayed in this film. There is only a casual conversation about life and love.

Ramzi Abed is a human visual artist, performer and filmmaker based on Planet Earth.
He currently splits his time between places on the planet whenever it's possible, and breathes air for the time being just like anyone else. His film, The Devil's Muse, streamed on Netflix for nearly two years and was distributed by Cinetic Media, Gunpowder and Sky, and Halo 8 Entertainment respectively in digital and home video formats.
He recently directed the music video for "A Free Society", the title song from the debut album by Night Crickets, a jazzy post-punk supergroup comprised of David J Haskins (of Bauhaus, Love and Rockets) and Victor De Lorenzo (of Violent Femmes) and renowned musician, Darwin Meiners. Abed's film work has been distributed and also screened at numerous film festivals over the years.
As his retired on-screen persona, Brock Doom, he also spent nearly ten years in the field of adult entertainment as an adult performer and actor. He was even nominated for an AVN award in Las Vegas along with his co-stars, Edyn Blair and Subil Arch, for their collaborative performance in a scene that got a lot of recognition particularly for its humor.
Ramzi took a nearly ten year hiatus from making and finishing new mainstream films, but is now very hard at work making new movies and completing past projects. He's born anew, and reflecting about everything.
This comedic erotic docu-drama mixes elements of documentary with both improvisational comedy and autobiographical reality-based storytelling loosely inspired by and about my own personal life and previous experiences working as a professional adult performer and actor in the mainstream adult movie industry. I tackle my own personal shame and journey for acceptance and personal peace in this project, which is hard for me to watch but is a cathartic work that I am nonetheless proud of.
Taking its cues from French New Wave and Punk Rock music, the film blends fiction and fact in a very empathic and truthful fashion.
Love conquers all. Let love into your hearts. Open your minds. Let love in.
