Best Dark Comedy Micro Film Award Winner
Jonathan Scott is a Vancouver based filmmaker. He directed his first short film, 'Curtain Call' (2022), while attending the Motion Picture Arts program at Capilano University. Upon graduation, Jonathan wrote, directed and starred in 'Lemon' (2024) on a shoestring budget with friends from his film school. Outside of directing, Jonathan has experience as a freelance videographer, editor and producer.
Lemon is a story about two brothers who have to work through their differences and come together after a hospital break goes awry. Through a silly crime comedy lens, the film is about how strong relationships require sacrifice to survive.
