Rolling through Liberty City, Allapattah, and Opa Locka to learn about the history of the Miami Bass movement, known worldwide for inciting Supreme Court freedom of speech and intellectual property victories by one of the most influential hip hop crews of all time. Featuring interviews with DJ's, dancers, artists, and fans to elucidate the hidden history of a subculture known by few, but loved by many.

Director Biography - Jacob Katel

Jake is a writer, artist, photographer, and moviemaker who has lived all over Dade County since 1988. He has been featured at the Miami Book Fair, the Miami Film Fest, the Miami History Museum, and the front page of the Miami Herald. His journalism has been featured in local, regional, and national publications; and been cited in academic works distributed to libraries all over America.
