Michael Keeling: I was born with Velo-Cardio Facial Syndrome and a heart condition that required five separate surgical operations. I have Aspergers and other moderate learning disorders. I am determined to write stories and share my perspective on life — To achieve success despite my disabilities and medical challenges — To serve as a role model and inspiration for others like myself.

W. W. Webb: I am a farm-raised Georgia native. I know how to use dynamite and graduated from Yale University. I'm a former trucker, pharmacy tech, teacher, computer programmer, carpenter, handyman, political operative, roofer, and business owner. I can operate a range of heavy equipment, own many power tools, and still have all ten of my fingers. I love to hear a good story and can tell a few tales of my own.

Writer Statement

W. W. Webb: Archaeologists estimate that moving each of the large megaliths at Stonehenge from their quarry to Salisbury Plain required around a thousand people. Even the smaller stones involved hundreds for their transport. These numbers amaze me, and yet sound comparable to the legion of workers required to produce a film or scripted series in our time.

Legacy of the Witch is my first collaboration with another writer. Our project took about six months to discuss, outline, and write. Michael and I were on two continents with our time zones seven hours apart. Despite our logistical and personal challenges, I enjoyed our innumerable brainstorming sessions as we fleshed out the characters and story.

This pilot is a small monument to our perseverance, dedication, and teamwork—to the wonder of how far we could travel when pulling together. Thank you.
