(1990) Born in Peru, has a Master's degree in Documentary Filmmaking from ESCAC, and over 9 years of experience developing Non-Fiction projects in Latin America. His work highlights family portraits, migration stories, indigenous communities, and generational conflicts. In Peru, he has received the DICINE Award for Best Peruvian Short Fiction Film and has participated in festivals such as the Native Spirit Film Festival in London (recognized for promoting environmental protection and indigenous cultures worldwide), the International Environmental Film Festival of Ecuador, and the 17th Lima International Film Festival. In 2023, he traveled to Spain to pursue a Master's in Documentary Filmmaking at ESCAC, where he received funding to develop the documentary short film "Kuitámat" (filmed in the Peruvian Amazon). Finally, his Master's final project, "Roots," was selected as one of the top two pitches by executives from HBO, Netflix, Movistar, and TV3, and is currently featured in the industry section of Docs Barcelona 2024 (public pitch & speed meetings).
I firmly believe that respect, empathy, and love for our origins can be powerful drivers for telling stories with honesty and authenticity.
