Artie Romero founded his first company, Everyman Studios, in 1973. After publishing comic books for 8 years, he converted it to animation production in 1981. He changed the name of the company to ARG! Cartoon Animation in 1994, and in a twenty-month period spanning 2005-2006 the studio's website at Artie.com logged more than one billion hits. Romero has screen credits on four movies, five TV series and one PBS special, and his studios have produced tens of thousands of distinctive animations.
In 2016, his production of "Adventures of Turtle Taido" was screened at Cannes Film Festival.

It was a real joy to help bring the work of Edward Lear forward into the 21st Century. If all I ever did was direct films like Lear's Nonsense, I would have no stress whatsoever. I couldn't have made this without the great voice acting of Ron Hayden, the amazing art of Matt Rebel and so many others, and the production assistance of Gretchen Piper and Woody Martin. Enjoy the short!
