Director Statement

“Lawrence Of Arabia” is a personal homage to growing up in front of the TV set and the silver screen. Mick’s music falls right in line with that long tradition of wonderful Irish singer/storytellers and I fell in love with this song the first time he played it for me, and even more so after he went into the studio with Greg (Laswell) to produce it. There’s a somber but hopeful feeling to the nostalgia contained within the music and lyrics (and an obvious visual movie-reference element) that he and I knew right away needed to be translated into a film. Hope you enjoy.
