Director Biography - Pinaki Janardhan

Rakshith Pinaki Janardhan (Screen Name : Pinaki Janardhan), a Civil Engineering graduate, who started making short films from his college times, has directed couple of short films, later professionally took up this as a career, and has worked in couple of Kannada films as an Assistant / Associate Director. He also has worked in Digital Ads and TVC'S, as a 1st AD. His previous short film, named "Conscience of Vincent", which he wrote and directed in 2019, made official selection at Six International short film festivals.

Director Statement

I created Lavishka due to the challenges it offered me as a filmmaker. A film, which is as simple as just two primary characters talking throughout, is led by an Idea that, these two characters will never be seen together in any of the frames as a part of our storytelling, which led us to find a whole new treatment to construct scenes
