We are Latest TV, Northern Visions and Sheffield Live!, community, not-for-profit local TV channels in Brighton, Belfast and Sheffield. We organise film festivals, both as live events in our venues when possible, and, on our TV channels; so when you are part of our festival, you get your film on local TV stations in the UK!

Our forthcoming event is our yearly International Women's Day film festival.

We are looking for films made by female filmmakers, with women at the forefront of their topics (cis & trans). We welcome every genre!

Submissions are always free. As our channels are community-based and not-for-profit, we are unable to pay broadcasting fees, but what we offer our filmmakers is the opportunity to be seen by a much wider audience than at a conventional film festival! We pride ourselves in supporting the work of independent filmmakers by showcasing their work on local TV channels in the UK.

By submitting your film, you acknowledge that you are giving permission to Latest Visions to broadcast your film on local television channels in the U.K. and Northern Ireland during the duration of the festival, and to utilize still images and trailers from your film for non-commercial use in promoting the event. Submission of your film also indicates consent to the copyright agreement below.

Latest Visions do not have premiere status requirements.

Latest Visions reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any projects submitted. If accepted, you must be able to provide the festival with a downloadable export of your film, as well as at least two high-quality still image for promotional purposes.

For purposes of submission, all films must be submitted as online screeners through FilmFreeway. Submitted films must be complete. Works-in-progress will not be accepted. All material in your film must be your own original work - you must have the rights to all images, music, and on-screen talent featured in your film. Films that do not adhere to copyright laws will be disqualified.

COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT

I state that I am authorized to submit this film to Latest Visions for consideration, and have read, understood, and agree to all the requirements. I hereby release the Festival from all responsibility for loss of or damage to submitted materials. As this is a competitive festival, I understand there are no guarantees that my film will be accepted for screening. Entry materials will not be returned.

I agree that I have secured all necessary rights for both picture and sound, and exhibition will not violate or infringe upon any rights including, but not limited to music, images, and content.
