Holly Wang- Graduated from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a Bachelor's degree and from the School of Journalism and Communication at The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master's degree, I have been a key creator involved in the production of feature films, short films, documentaries, and commercials. My work seeks to highlight the extraordinary within ordinary relationships and the enduring simplicity found within the extraordinary.
Sylvie Wu - Becoming a director who makes film with poetry and philosophy. Currently studying in the Department of Philosophy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
"Last but not Least" explores the relationship between two women in an open relationship. As they navigate the complexities of modern love, they are no longer rivals, yet human nature traps them in a struggle for possession. The film serves as a thought experiment, with my protagonists embarking on a journey to answer my own questions about the exclusivity of love.
I aim to depict a new possibility for female relationships - two women, at odds yet united in an adventure they lead together, helping each other heal from the loss of a loved one. There may exist a distinctly "feminine" way, one we can imagine.
In a sense, "Last but not Least" is a story about healing, and the process of creating it led me to reconcile with myself.
