Director Biography - Kerrin Rafuse

Kerrin Rafuse is a Writer and Director living and working on Canada's East Coast.

She completed her BFA in Filmmaking and Photography at NSCAD University (2010) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before moving to St. John's, Newfoundland. With the help of local film and arts organizations, Kerrin has made 3 short films: "Forty-Five & Five" (2011), "False Light" (2018), and the upcoming French-language folk horror short "La Véillée" (2021), the script for which won her the RBC Michelle Jackson Emerging Filmmaker Award in 2019.

Kerrin enjoys working in spaces fantastical and speculative, and is a friend to the monsters under your bed.
