Conoceremos su historia de vida y las dificultades cotidianas de de sacar adelante a sus hijxs, cinco de ellos con múltiples discapacidades, quienes son su motor para levantarse cada mañana, y hacer frente a toda adversidad.

This documentary will take us into the home of Doña Cristi, a 74-year-old woman who has run her grocery store for more than three decades. (2001, Ecatepec de Morelos) Víctor Manuel "Vicman" Ortigoza es actor, director y productor. Estudió Artes Visuales en la Facultad de Artes y Diseño de la UNAM. Fue parte del Talles de Análisis Gráfico del Guion Cinematográfico de la ENAC impartido por Jorge García y del Diplomado en Creación Audiovisual Comunitaria de PROCINE, INJUVE y el CC Ollin Yolitzli. LA TIENDA DE DOÑA CRISTI es su primer cortometraje documental como director.

It was part of the Graphic Analysis of Film Script Workshops at ENAC taught by Jorge García and the Diploma in Community Audiovisual Creation from PROCINE, INJUVE and the CC Ollin Yolitzli. LA TIENDA DE DOÑA CRISTI is his first documentary short film as a director.
"La Tienda de Doña Cristi" es un homenaje a mi abuelita Cristina Rivera Hernández, el cual busca honrar su vida pero sobre todo visibilizar su lucha por sacar adelante a sus hijos con discapacidad visual pese a cualquier adversidad.
"Doña Cristi's grocery store" is a tribute to my grandmother Cristina Rivera Hernández, which seeks to honor her life but above all to make visible her struggle to raise her children with visual disabilities despite any adversity.
