Director Statement

This film was born from a memory of my mother performing an egg cleansing ritual to ward off evil—a practice I witnessed again with my own children. What once felt strange as a child revealed itself as an expression of profound maternal love and protection. Movement and Rhythm became the language to explore the emotions, tensions, and subtle beauty of this ritual, carried by Claire Deak’s evocative score.
