Lisa Cerda Fernandez is a Peruvian Chilean filmmaker.
She's an Associate Producer at Radio Ambulante and spends her free time writing screenplays, providing script coverage, and attending film festivals and networking events in Atlanta. With experience as a production assistant for major studios like MGM and Amazon Prime, Lisa is dedicated to telling stories that highlight strong female characters of color, bringing more diversity and representation to the film industry.
"I've always been driven to bring strong, fearless women of color to the screen. With La Santeria, I wanted to push the boundaries of portrayal by reimagining the classic, beautiful Latina character with a dark twist. Rather than leaning on stereotypes, I aimed to make her complex, powerful, and so much more than her appearance."
