Experiencing Interruptions?

The Waterfall Huntress - La Cacciatrice di Cascate

The choice is just one step away from Rachele and Ludovico.

Who has never hesitated in front of a decision? Sometimes, decisions seem so much bigger than us. Sometimes, their weight is enough to destroy our balance.
It doesn’t always look like the path we chose is the right one...but, after all, which way is really the right one?

Maybe it doesn’t even exist. Maybe the trick is just to keep going -- just leaving any direction behind. Going somewhere, guided by the adrenaline and by the taste of adventure and change on our lips; feeling the possibility, breathing it. Taking away the power from those lurking voices that whisper that it’s not possible, trusting the stories and what they have to say.
Trusting what we have to say.

Rachele lives by taking moments: she knows well the importance of a decision; of a single moment captured before it wears off like a dream.

One second it’s here, the one after it’s gone.

Director Biography - Gennaro (Johnny) Carrano

Johnny Carrano is a young 27 yo director, who at only 17 discovered his greatest passion: Cinema. Through personal and independent projects that, as he says, allow him to express himself fully. After a period of time spent in New York to observe people and breath in the creativity that the Big Apple could offer him, he goes back to Italy where he starts working for fashion and beauty editorials, plus photo shoots for interviews,
advertising, and music videos. His first short film, titled “La voce della montagna,” (“The Voice of the Mountain”) is an experiment and full of firsts on set.
“LATE” is the following project, which earns the filmmaker his first Award: Best Cinematography at the International competition “I Corti dei Fabbri” and it was included in the Official Selection for “IndieWise.”
After a time of creative writing for his new project, Johnny realizes “Black Lips,” which is a story about friendship and betrayal, nominated at the “Longless Film Festival” in the category “Best Short Film” and at the “Roma Tre Film Festival.”
In November 2017, for The Italian Rêve, an online magazine for which he’s also the Art Director, Johnny writes and directs the fashion short film “Who Am I?”;
Johnny then jumps into a new adventure: a documentary that follows one of the teams who had signed up for the 2018 edition of “The Speed Project.” The race is a 340 mile (550K) relay from the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
His latest project, titled “La Cacciatrice di Cascate,” (“The Waterfall Huntress”) which was produced and completed between 2018 and 2019, marks a change for Johnny, both in terms of production and narrative, making him face new challenges for an evocative and ambitious project.
