Director Biography - Haben Merker

A latchkey kid from Sacramento, Haben’s passion for unconventional storytelling spawned from watching endless hours of cable TV, and independent film. After producing programs for local cable access, he moved to LA to pursue his dreams of creating content for the screen. He got his WGA card as a writers' assistant, penning a freelance episode for CBS's CRIMINAL MINDS. His broad experience spans assistant roles on NBC's PARKS & RECREATION, FOX's HOUSE, ABC's QUANTICO, TNT's CLAWS, and the APPLE TV+ Series, THE BIG CIGAR. Inspired by the loss of my father, this film explores the emotions we all experience when we grieve: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally, acceptance.
