The Lords of Destiny

Feit is a young woman who has never made choices in her life, trying to adapt herself and live quietly.
One day she wakes up due to a ray of sunshine illuminating her face. Unexpectedly either her bed and her room are not the bed she went to sleep in the night before. Now she is in a dark cell driven by mysterious rays of light.
Despite attempts to adapt to the new mysterious context, she is forced to make a choice: two boxes surrounded by a black limbo. In one she can find her freedom and in the other one...an instrument of death.
This is what the Lords of Destiny decided for Feit and she can't escape from her Destiny.

Director Statement

This movie comes from a story I wrote in 1985 when I was 17th. Fascinated by the changes of television, anticipating all the themes and the future development of latest programs like The Big Brother reality show and The Truman Show, I decided to produce my first movie starting from my first novel. Even because the theme is still actual and modern.
Initially I intended to shot just a test, to face myself in a small production and directing exercise, I later understood the potential of the story and the need to invest much more time and energy. As I already planned only two days of shooting, the Lords of Destiny suffered a very big cut from the original script and we reduced by 40% of the original plot and 80% of the intended shooting list!
But here, investing a lot in editing and sound design, we tried hard to make this movie original and innovative. We hope we achieved at least one of our goals. Follow your destiny.
