Experiencing Interruptions?

LIve Portraits

For many years, photography was my way of being in the world. All I needed was a Canon—or a phone in my pocket. It was the pleasure of capturing the moment, the perfect light, time suspended.

When artificial intelligence arrived, I left real images behind, fascinated by what could be created—impossible worlds, perfect scenes, characters who never existed. Reality felt limited.

But nostalgia for the real world called me back.

Now, I explore a meeting between the two worlds: I revisit my photographs—the real ones—and with AI, I give them a new breath of life. I animate what was frozen, bring motion to what was still.

It’s no longer just a captured moment. It’s a memory that breathes.

This is the starting point for the experiment ‘Live Portraits’, where technology doesn’t erase memory—it makes it pulse again.
