Director Statement

In the present age, it seems to be modern, and its particular look in society has dominated dogmatism and crookedness, but when we look inside and do a deep examination, we will notice the roots of that old look. One of the examples of this look in oriental societies, which is even beyond its pure cultural-religious thinking, is to look at women. Inappropriate treatment of women in the community has not progressed, and the lack of adequate and proper freedom for them has caused them to suffer from some kind of psychological stress and imbalance in society. The short film "Leprosy" examines one of these factors of pressure in Iranian society and has tried to give a warning to the society with a different look at the issue: "Women should not be judged!"
