LANGSTON AND BACARI'S TIME TRAVEL ADVENTURE

An epic adventure begins when a college professor’s time travel experiment goes wrong and two students from a utopian Black future get stranded in the 21st Century. The clueless duo must find help to get back to the future. Their trip to the past takes them through a time in history before the establishment of Black Reparations and the outbreak of World War III. With the help of the professor’s family and friends, they navigate this unfamiliar world and repair their time travel vehicle.

This project is part of the 'Black from the Future' time travel trilogy.

I have 25 years of professional experience in nonprofit services, helping individuals and families with special support needs. I am a small business owner focused on community development and supporting entrepreneurship.

In 2009, I began exploring my passion for storytelling and studying the art of scriptwriting. I am excited to share my voice and my stories with the world. A mix of humor, history, and satire with a positive message for a broad audience.

This trilogy is one of several screenplays I hope to produce, each in a different genre, targeting different audiences with a unique twist.

This screenplay is the first of the 'Black to the Future' trilogy, which tells the story of two college students and their wild adventures as they travel through time. Action, calamity, and hysterics follow the colorful cast of characters through the past, present, and future, as topics like reparations, nation-building, racial stereotypes, and life after a post-apocalyptic war are examined with humor and satire.
