L'ANGE DÉCHU

L’ange Déchu is a contemporary reimagining of the classic ballet, Giselle, exploring themes of betrayal, trauma and struggles of identity. Set in the rigorous world of ballet school, this story follows Mallory, a talented young ballerina, discovering who she is as a dancer. After waking up in bed with her dance partner and best friend, Ben, Mallory must grapple with her confusing feelings for him, while coping with the aftermath of a recent assault. As Mallory’s life unravels around her, she struggles with a daunting journey of self discovery. Caught between her feelings of Ben and the pain of the assault, Mallory sinks deep into an all consuming downward spiral.
