Cassper Nyovest, born Refiloe Maele Phoolo on December 16, 1990, is a renowned South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur, and record producer. He's regarded as one of the most successful artists in South Africa, known for his chart-topping albums and singles.

Early Life and Education
Born in Mahikeng, North West Province, Cassper grew up in a family of seven, with his parents, Muzuki and Letsebela Phoolo, and four siblings. He attended Sol Plaatjie Secondary School, where he was an athlete and started rapping at 12. Cassper later enrolled at the University of Johannesburg to study Sports Management but dropped out to pursue his music career ¹.

Cassper's breakthrough came with his debut album, "Tsholofelo" (2014), which spawned hit singles "Gusheshe" and "Doc Shebeleza".
