Korsan Taksi Music Video

The music video for "Korsan Taksi" in JA, KLAR's debut EP.
The narrative portrays band members always apart, unable to occupy the same space simultaneously, symbolizing the zeitgeist of our era, where shared realities seem elusive.

Director Statement

Directed by me, the music video is a fusion of photography and moving images. 32.497 photos were shot in the making of this video. The video pays homage to old cinematography. It has 5 or 6 frames per second accordingly to the music beat. The screen is divided in two, echoing Eisenstein's "dynamic square" concept. Urban rhythm and the rawness of streets are captured through photography. Studio shots contrast dreamy feelings with city scenes.
