Koi Koi - The Beginning

Three school girls share horror stories at midnight and try to outdo each other in a competition of who shares the most horrific story. The first girl shares the story of the horrific backyard woman who kills school girls that stay out late at night. The second girl shares the story of the mysterious bread crumbs woman who preys on the fears of a young school girl Beatrice. The third girl shares the story of the incredible beautiful school girl Katherine who has a new hair style on her head every single day and how the curiosity of another school girl Ada leads her into discovering a secret she is better of not knowing. The underlining theme of the three stories is that there is a certain danger that comes with curiosity.

Lawal Adekunle McDouglas (Director)
Lawal adekunle mcdouglas is the founder of BLACKBISHOP MOVIES AND PRODUCTIONS.
A graduate of the UNIVERSITY of BENIN and a passionate film maker who sees film making as an art that should be used in telling amazing African stories.
He has honed his skills from interning at a media house, being a finalist at the film making reality show SCRIPT2SCREEN and also a certificate holder from the real time film festival challenge 2018 for the short film S.O.S.
He has directed two shorts movie Anonymous and Retribution.

I see film as a tool for learning, unlearning and relearning, I hope to bridge the gap between Nollywood and the biggest film industries in the world by telling stories that will entertain and educate the world at large about the beauty, culture and the amazing folklores of the African heritage.
