Kings of Bungendore
A group of teenagers, called ‘Kings of Bungendore’, are making mischief in the local town and two police officers launch an investigation while they are being filmed for a local documentary.
Erin English and Tyler Johnno are partnered police officers, both carrying stereotypical Australian characteristics to the job. Erin is the obvious leader of the two, constantly trying to appear professional. The way Erin speaks contrasts this as she takes on a ‘bogan’ stereotype. Tyler follows Erin around, not totally understanding what his job is besides how police officers are depicted in the media.
The opening of the investigation showcases all the evidence the two have collected. The police officers interact with different people in the town, eventually coming into close contact with an assumed member of Kings of Bungendore (KOB). They chase the KOB member, quickly losing them, but decide to ‘camp out’ in the last area they spotted the KOB member. On the camp out they get distracted by an attractive park ranger and quickly forget about their duties. While distracted, the KOB members ‘move towns’ and the following day in the investigation, Erin and Tyler come across new graffiti revealing this information.
