Jakob Geßner is a german actor and a self-taught filmmaker.
He studied the dramatic arts from 2010-2014 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg.
2013 he became a fixed part of the Ensemble of the Münchner Volkstheater where he played parts in over 25 different plays in 600 performances, up until 2020.
Since 2019 he has mainly been working as a film actor and has dedicated himself passionately to his own film projects as an author, director, cameraman and editor.
„Kiloherz“ is his first film as a filmmaker.
