Filmmaking has been a passion of Tim's since childhood. He spent his early years making movies with his friends on any camera he could get his hands on, from a rented VHS camcorder to grabbing his grandmas new hi8 camera letting tge creativity run wild. But as life unfolded, that dream was put aside to raise a family and build a life. Still, the question of ‘what if’ never left. After decades of pondering, he finally picked up a pen and wrote Killer Komodos. With a small crew and a big vision, he set out to bring his love for storytelling to the screen. "Killer Komodos from The Cosmic Abyss" is just the first step in his filmmaking journey.
With Killer Komodos, I set out to bring back the old-school fun that has been missing from modern horror. Horror, through my eyes should be fun, entertain, and leave audiences grinning as much as gasping. I wanted to fill that gap—delivering a film that doesn’t just scare but also makes you laugh and wanting more. I want to remind viewers why they fell in love with the genre in the first place. My goal was simple: focus on fun. If the audience walks away with a smile on their face, eager for more, then I’ve done my job."
