Kidnapped

As the eight year anniversary of the disappearance of Sarah Hardwell makes its approach, sixteen year old Grace Mills's life takes a turn for the worse. Kidnapped by a man and thrown into a room, she is struck with the possibility that she will never see her family again. Befriending the brainwashed girl enclosed with her, who is too scared to leave the room and truly believes that the kidnapper is the only person who will love her leaves Grace with more questions than answers. With her only chance of escape possible if she can convince Sarah that there is more to life than what the man tells her. As the girls share stories about their families Grace is able to persuade her new friend to break out and escape the lies that the man has rooted into the girl's brain. During their escape the man's reason for his actions is revealed leaving Sarah heartbroken motivating her, even more, to get out and start a new life. When the girls arrive safely at the police station exhausted from the journey Grace is reunited with family. Here an even bigger truth is revealed that would change not only the girl's lives but the people around them.
