Rob Avery saw his first horror movie at the age of three. It was a movie called Beyond the Door. The vomit scene made him laugh so hard, he and his parents almost got kicked out of the movie theatre. As a teen, he would ride his moped to the video rental store in Huber Heights, Ohio and grab as many gory horror flicks that he could find. Luthor the Geek, Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, Redneck Zombies, Night of the Demon, Tim Ritter's Truth or Dare, the Re-animator, Return of the Living Dead, Scalps, Street Trash, Bad Taste, Dead Alive, Toxic Avenger, Mother's Day are some of his favorites, that inspired him to become a filmmaker. His movies Slashers Gone Wild: Bloodbath and Scream for Christmas are available on streaming platforms everywhere.
