Kind of Asian, kind of white and bisexual to boot, Kelly is a writer/director who embraces not fitting the mold and questioning social norms that marginalize.
She writes character-driven, genre film and TV that have won awards at Big Apple and Renegade Film Festivals, and placed at Austin Film Festival, ISA Fast Track Fellowship, Athena Film Festival and more. She has taken writing courses with Sundance Collab.
Kelly wrote, directed and starred in the proof of concept short GOOD GIRLS GET FED. It gained half a million views in 3 months online, and won 9 awards and played at 18 festivals including Oscar-Qualifying San Jose International, Dances With Films and FilmQuest.
She's also a lefty, making whiteboards her true nemesis.
