Kind of Asian, kind of white and bisexual to boot, Kelly embraces not fitting the mold and questioning social norms that marginalize.
She is a writer, director and the founder of production company Trial By Fire Entertainment.
Kelly’s award-winning directorial work includes short films GOOD GIRLS GET FED (Best Short Thriller at NY Cinefest, Official Selection at Dances With Films, Chattanooga Film Festival, Panic Fest, and more) and CARRON COMFORT.
Currently in development, GOOD GIRLS GET FED will be her feature directorial debut.
She writes film and TV that has placed in Austin Film Festival, ISA's Fast Track Fellowship, Filmmatic Inroads Fellowship, Athena Writer’s Lab and Page Turner Screenplays, and has earned her way into writing courses with SUNDANCE COLLAB.
Kelly gravitates toward character-driven genre stories that build worlds, challenge stereotypes and value connection.
She’s also a lefty, making whiteboards her true nemesis.
