Director Biography - Kelsie McDonald

Kelsie McDonald is an Australian/English actor & screenwriter based in Los Angeles, USA. Keep Calm & Merry On is her official Directing debut.

Recently launching People Power Pictures, a positive film company that will utilise the magic of storytelling to ignite energy around topical issues and bring to light underrepresented sides of the story.

Kelsie aspires to continue telling stories from around the world, determined to push boundaries, evoke thought and inspire change throughout her creative career.

Director Statement

Keep Calm & Merry On is a quirky story that sprung into my mind after chin-wagging with Actress & Producer, Julie Nolan about her dreams of being in Hallmark Christmas Films.

I had just received my USA green card, settled in LA and was itching to finally launch my own film company, People Power Pictures. I'd been in conversations with DOP and Producer, Frank Juarez about collaborating and this seemed the perfect little film project to bring a group of talented artists together and create some Christmas cheer.

I am proud to say that this my Directing debut under my new film company and in collaboration with the wonderful SAG14 Productions.
