KarmYogini - Mujh Mein Hai Ahilyabai
Even after withstanding repeated casualties and deaths of her beloved family members, Ahilyabai did not let her grief affect the administration of the kingdom and the lives of her people. She was doubted to be incompetent to rule Malwa Samrajya. Contenders underestimated her for being a woman and aimed to seize advantage of her being unattended. Ahilyabai with her confidante Tukoji Rao, her trained army of women warriors, her administrative ability and her keen interest in all her people protected her kingdom – fighting off invaders tooth and nail from plundering Malwa. Karmayogini showcases how the journey of Devi Ahilyabai enlightens and guides a modern-day businesswoman Komal when presented with similar circumstances.

I have been lucky to share my art with the students of the Daly College. Although in usual cases I have presented what I create with the talented students on stage, due to the pandemic we thought of creating a film and the Principal, staff and students took it positively and helped give life to a project that will inspire many students in the coming years. The challenges were enormous, covid being one and then shooting it within a stipulated budget and that too within a bio-bubble.
