Karitiana: Origin and Existence

The short film Karitiana: Origin and Existence is a free narrative of the history of the origin of life and the origin of the Byyjyty Ot'soop'waky village, a village that arises from the migration of families from the Central village, with the aim of resuming their ancestral territory and living from the their ancient ways of life. The story is told by two village leaders: Cizino (shaman and chief) and Meireles (his brother).

Our filmic look is about people and events of our time, we try to make films that can multiply or look at the world, sometimes in a poetic way, other times in a raw way. In our view, each film has a good gestation time until it is ready, then, after we mature, we can share our fruits with people and let them go their way in the world.
