To Mawuli's surprise, the grateful businessman is part of the interviewing panel he is meeting with later that day. When questioned about his tardiness, Mawuli displays remarkable honesty rather than making excuses. Impressed by Mawuli's integrity, the businessman hires him on the spot as a salesman.
Mawuli's decision to uphold his ethics, even when it could have cost him the job, is rewarded. His perseverance through years of unemployment finally pays off, fulfilling his mother's wishes for him to find honorable work and make her sacrifices worthwhile. Frank Dzikunu, widely known as Angel FD, is the esteemed founder of Angel FD Animation. He is presently enrolled as a student at the University of Cape Coast, pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science. Frank's journey into the world of animation commenced when he took it upon himself to acquire the necessary skills at the age of 19, during his second year at Bompeh Senior High Technical School. Following his completion of secondary education in 2016, he secured employment as a foreman at Wangkang Ceramic Company Ltd, where he served diligently for three years.
During this period, Frank successfully created "The Dance, Most Original," a captivating short animation in which characters gracefully move to the melodious tunes of "Most Original" by Stonebwoy. In 2019, Frank secured admission into the University of Cape Coast to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science. In his first academic year (level 100), he astutely crafted "Covid-19: The Fear of Death" and "Covid-19: Avoid Stigmatization," both animated works intended to raise awareness about the pressing issues surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.
Progressing into his second academic year (level 200), Frank contributed his creative prowess to produce "Sad Story of Kojo." In the following year, 2022, he presented "If You Do Good, You Do for Yourself," a short animation meticulously designed to inspire, encourage, motivate, inform, and educate individuals about the importance of performing altruistic acts towards others.
Currently in his third academic year (level 300), Frank's latest masterpiece, "Kindness Right Back At You," poignantly conveys the significance of demonstrating kindness to strangers through the medium of a short film. Frank Dzikunu's artistic achievements have garnered him numerous accolades both locally and internationally, including recognition at the AMAA Startimes Short Film Festival, where he secured the prestigious position of first runner-up in 2022.
Frank endeavors to incorporate elements of his faith into his animations, often employing textual or video recordings to share the word of God.
The root of my success is the fear of God in my heart.
