KEADILAN

Inspired by a true story, Finny is a woman who struggled to survive from her abusive Military man - husband, Toni. Violence, verbal abuse and threats were given by her cheating husband almost everyday. Drugs and alcohol consuming are her remedies, despite all those suicidal attempts. Later, Finny brace herself with and aid from her lawyer, Josef.
The court have ruled out all of her divorce filing. Josef, also receiving threats from Toni, which he is a man of power in the government. Will Finny ever got free from her nightmares and got her justice?

Director Biography - Rendy Herpy

Born in Jakarta, 21 August 1989. Rendy begin his career as an actor in Indonesia since 2004. In 2019, he begun directing his first short movie called "Setelah Kamu". "Setelah Kamu" got nominated in Panasonic Gobel Awards 2019 as Best digital series/shorts. Until 2022, he already directed more than 30 short movies, OTT series, ads and music video.

Director Statement

Marriage life is one of the area where people with power can be so abusive. A troubled marriage life, will make the person got stuck in their career, especially in Military fields. This movie pictured how a woman fight for her rights, despite all of those obstacles that she had countered. This movie also shows how a man of power, protects his image and career despite all the mischievous things that he have done.
