Director Biography - Patrick Evans

I am Patrick Evans; my history of work was mostly corporate and commercial. The biggest chunk doing videos for online Yellow Pages clients, advertising their service or product.
In this competitive age for film product, I decided to return to study film at the best school available to me here in Queensland; Griffith Film School at Griffith University. From here, the aim is to complete a Masters, in the leadup to a PHD.

Director Statement

As one of my instructors, Lord Puttnam voiced that we need to speak truth; I believe this is the source of all inspiration. I hope I can envelop my audience member (whoever that might be) with an experience that they can relate to in some small way and inspire them to do something positive with that new information or experience.
I draw my ideas from my life, from fantasy to reality. Grounded in an experience that I hope will convey inspiration for others to do better, see better, want better.
Life choices can be contagious like a smile, lift those around you and they will do the same.
