Director Biography - Maki NatalisGroup

Maki is a filmmaker and musician with a garrret in Seattle.

After graduating from CAA in sculpture he joined a virtual-worlds research department. In 1999 he launched Spirit Studios, providing motion capture and multimedia for the game and software industry in the Northwest.

Combining traditional art training with digital media expertise, Maki creates art-house music and independent films with passion.

JUST A BITE - DEMORATION EP45 #1 (Who Is ECG / Maki interview)

When we first hooked up to do some tracks, I asked ECG some questions. You know, just to get a feel for the temperature of the room.

What brought you to making music?
. It’s a way of sorting it all

What gives you inspiration?
. Travel

How do you make beats and songs?
. I write daily and sort through the nonsense to find the truth

What pisses you off about the music business?
. Capitalism flattens everything it touches

Your songs are poetry, how do you do that?
. I just like poems piiiimmmmp

We were good to go… From there we rolled up two songs of pure ecstasy capturing the moment we turned our heads into a singular force. For me it was magnetic, effortless, a deep dive with a clear sight.
